Delta Cedar Products is a fully integrated lumber manufacturing company, specializing in Western Red Cedar and Pacific Coast Yellow Cedar. Our facilities include two sawmill sites, one remanufacturing plant, and a specialty wood division.

Delta Cedar Products was founded in 1965 by Errol Wintemute and has been running as a successful company ever since. Our grades have always been considered consistent, and among the highest standards in the industry. Although Delta Cedar built its reputation through its high line tight knot decking grades, our product line has been greatly enhanced over the last several years. We have built our success through quality relationships with our distributors and understand that going the extra mile to surpass your expectations is the key in securing long-term relationships.

The 1990's were a decade of tremendous growth for Delta Cedar Products. Our small log line was added on to the existing mill in 1994 and with in two years nearly doubled our annual production. As a result, our Remanufacturing plant expanded to two full shifts, and is currently running on a three-shift basis. In the latter part of the 1990's the sawmill production was again enhanced, this time by approximately 20% as a result of some selective reconfiguration on some machine centers, as well as capital improvements on the log line. In 1999 Delta Cedar purchased an additional sawmill now named Halo Sawmill. Located in Pitt Meadows, B.C. roughly 25 miles east of our main office and Delta sawmill, it has the potential to again double our production. However part of Halo's capacity is and will be used for custom cutting as well as Delta Cedar's production.

With this growth comes a much more diversified product line for our customers as well as more consistent availability. Our plans for this decade are of the similar growth nature of the 1990's. We plan to continue our current strong relationships as well as expanding in to some new ones with quality businesses such as yours. Our record of meeting unique customer requirements over the years has earned us a sterling reputation for quality customer service, and we plan on continuing this high standard.
