Delta Sawmill

Delta SawmillLocated in Delta British Columbia, the Delta mill consists of one head rig and one c-frame carriage feeding two shifting saw edgers and three resaws.

The head rig mill is best known for its timber cutting of up to 34’ in length. The shifting saw edgers allow more flexibility when adapting to the different personalities of each cant, in relation to the order file. This mill typically cuts logs 16” in diameter and larger.

The c-frame mill was added in 1993. This mill is designed to cut logs up to 16” in diameter. The c-frame style allows the canting of a log in one pass and is best suited for the smaller tight knotted logs.

Delta LogsAnnual production of this mill is currently fifty five million board feet. In 2006 the Delta Mill added custom cutting to its services. It has already built a solid reputation of delivering a competitive and reliable service with the ability to cut a variety of species. The remanufacturing plant is located across the street from the Delta Cedar Sawmill. Any necessary planning, resawing, sorting or packaging can be processed at this site.
